The clearest Bible verse for waiting on God is Isaiah 40:31: those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. Waiting is not passive — it is an active, trusting posture toward God.
Waiting on God is not doing nothing while hoping circumstances change. It is praying, trusting, and doing the next faithful thing while holding the outcome loosely. Psalm 27:14 says to wait and be courageous — both at once.
Lamentations 3:25 says God is good to those who wait for Him and seek Him. Even in silence, seeking is the posture that leads to renewal.
Isaiah 40:31 is the anchor passage: waiting on God renews strength. Psalm 27:14 adds that waiting is done with courage, not passivity.
Bring your frustration honestly to God in prayer. Read Lamentations 3:22-23 — His mercies are new every morning. Seek Him in the waiting, even when it is hard.
